US Small Business Association (SBA) Small Business Disaster Assistance for COVID-19 is providing federal disaster loans for businesses, private non-profits, homeowners and renters.

The Paycheck Protection Program is a loan designed to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on the payroll. SBA (US Small Business Association) will forgive loans if all employees are kept on the payroll for eight weeks and the money is used for payroll, rent, mortgage interest, or utilities.  Available through June 30, 2020.

Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) provides economic relief to small businesses that are currently experiencing a temporary loss of revenue. Small business owners are eligible to apply for a loan advance of up to $10,000.  This loan advance will not have to be repaid.

Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac (the Enterprises) and the Federal Home Loan Banks are taking steps to help people who have been impacted by the coronavirus. If your ability to pay your mortgage is impacted, and your loan is owned by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac, you may be eligible to delay monthly mortgage payments for a temporary period, during which foreclosures and other legal proceedings are suspended, delinquencies won’t be reported to the credit bureaus, and late fees won’t be incurred.
