Like many homes in the established residential areas of Myrtle Beach, this home was in need of some exterior updates and the homeowners were in need for some additional storage and garage space. The CRG Design team worked with them to design an outdoor living area that would include new driveways, landscaping, exterior home updates as well as a luxurious 835 sqft detached custom garage with a few extra bonus features to truly add value and functionality to the new addition of space. 

The garage’s exterior features Board and Batten cement board siding with brick veneer detailing around the building and 30 year Architectural shingles and with standing seam metal roofing accents.

The custom garage with raised panel steel garage doors was designed to fit 2 cars as well as a golf cart. The new concrete salt-finish driveway allows for ample overflow parking space.

The exterior of the home received new paint on both the brick and siding as well as a new roof and landscape design instantly modernizing the look of the property. The original carport and circle driveway were upgraded from gravel to a concrete salt-finish driveway.

Well manicured landscaping and paver walkways connect the home to the new garage and add to the esthetics of the outdoor space. 

An outdoor shower designed alongside the garage adds a touch of style and provides convenience for beach-goers!

A 4’ and 6’  brick wall were constructed along the property line to provide more privacy for the homeowners as well as a secured entry slider gate off the public alley.

The laundry area provides a utility sink, washer and dryer hookups and a tankless water heater.

Concrete flooring with an Epoxy finish throughout the garage and powder room adds a clean, luxurious look to the garage. Extra storage space is accessible above the garage with pull down stairs.
