Construction Spotlight: Custom CRG Oceanfront Home Design 

This three floor oceanfront home in Garden City, South Carolina defines coastal living. Our design and construction team worked with these homeowners to create a primary residence with unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean that would be  suitable for a family lifestyle. Many of our oceanfront homeowners, be it a primary residence or investment property, look for ample entertaining space to accommodate guests as well as outdoor living space to maximize their prime location. They also look for durable finishes inside that can withstand frequent visitors and exteriors that can withstand the harsh coastal elements. All of which were achieved with style for this luxury home!

 A paver driveway leads to a raised beach home with a decorative brick on the foundation, gated garage area and louvered side panel walls allowing for privacy when entering the home.

Inside the main floor is an impressive living area with natural light provided by two sets of french doors and windows facing the ocean.

A truly open floor plan, the living, dining, and kitchen are all encompassed in the main floor. Tile flooring and gorgeous coffered ceiling detail creates a seamless design between living spaces.

A multi-sided wood burning fireplace is the focal point of the family room as well as an adjacent parlor accessible through cased openings flagging each side.

This custom bar area was designed for entertaining! The space includes surround sound, multiple TV displays, a built-in wine cellar. and wet bar with tile backsplash.

 The dining room sits off the luxury style kitchen with 42" wall cabinets, appliances disguised as cabinetry to maintain a polished look, granite countertops, and a large center island.

The upper glass cabinets have a grasscloth wallpaper background to add a pop of color and texture to the space. Double wall ovens were installed for convenience.

The master suite makes up half the second level complete with carpet, 9' ceilings, a private sitting room, bedroom, an extravagant master bathroom, and walk in closet.

The sitting room features a morning bar and built-in shelving with a TV mount. The master bedroom is located off the sitting room through solid core doors with ideal beach views through french doors and windows and access to the private master porch spanning 40 feet wide.

The custom designed bathroom has a private toilet room, and double walk-through shower with a mix of impressive floor to ceiling tile details.

A free standing tub sits between his and her counter spaces and sinks.

A double archway entrance for the shower along with custom tile design create a lavish space in the master bath.

The master closet has built-in shelving and a center island with drawers designed for accessory storage.

Two guest bedrooms with walk-in closets and private bathrooms are also located on the second level with a laundry room and lounge area suitable for a grand piano.

The top level includes a workout room overlooking the beach, full bathroom, large office space, a 5th bedroom, and finished storage room.

All porches include custom columns, composite decking and handrails with beautiful beadboard ceilings with speakers for entertaining.

Bahama Atlantic shutters decorate the exterior windows.

The outdoor living space features a shower, kitchen, gunite swimming pool with hot tub, pavers, and aluminum fencing.

A private custom walkway reflects the design of the home and provides quick access to the beach.
