This year has plenty of new and exciting events as well as many festivals returning to the scene. The average temperatures in October still range in the high 70s, making it an excellent time to get out and explore all of the Grand Strand!

Fall In Love With Myrtle Beach

Top Fall Festivities Around The Grand Strand

Harvest Home Festival
Where: Brookgreen Gardens
When: Saturday, October 2- Sunday, October 3
Cost: Included with Garden Admission

Brookgreen Gardens' annual Harvest Home Weekend will be packed with family fun including mystery scarecrow decorating, pumpkin decorating, and live entertainment. They’ll also have food trucks and artwork from Plein Air Guild on display in the nearby gallery. 

Taste of The Market Common & Sidewalk Sale
Where: The Market Common
When: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, October 2
Cost: Free
Sample tasty menu items from the restaurants at The Market Common and find a gift for that special someone during their sidewalk sale. This fun event is family-friendly and the perfect way to celebrate fall! 

Myrtle Beach Bike Week Fall Rally
Where: Throughout the Grand Strand
When: September 27- October 3
From Bike Nights to Scenic cruises along the coast there are plenty of ways to join in on the fun of the Myrtle Beach Bike Week Fall Rally. Check out the Biker-Olympics at Harley’s Roadhouse on Friday, October 1 with free food, raffles, and plenty of games.

Myrtle Beach Fall Jerk Fest
Where: Broadway Street in downtown Myrtle Beach
When: 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, October 2
Cost: $20/person
Celebrate the tastes of Jamaican food at the Myrtle Beach Fall Jerk Fest. All of the historic Broadway streets will close down to showcase local businesses and the best in Jerk food. A Wine Walk will be available with tastings at 10 different tents along the street. 

Surfside Beach Family Festival
Where: Surfside Drive
When: Saturday, October 2
Cost: Free
The town of Surfside Beach invites you to their annual Family Festival! They’ll have plenty of vendors, live entertainment, kids’ activities, and great food options. 

La Belle Amie Saturday Concerts
Where: La Belle Amie Vineyard
When: Each Saturday in October
Cost: $10/admission or $17/admission and wine tasting plus booking fees
Join La Belle Amie Vineyard for a special concert each Saturday in October. Each week has a new theme with live bands and great wines to taste. 

Fall Into Conway Fall Festival
Where: Downtown Conway
When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 2
Cost: Free
Your entire family is invited to celebrate the change in seasons in downtown Conway. They’ll have tons of fun for the kids, vendors, live music, food, and more. 

Grandparents Weekend
Where: Southern Palmetto Farm
When: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 2 & 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, October 3
Cost: Buy One Get One Free Admission with Grandparent
Bring your grandchildren to Southern Palmetto Farm in Aynor for a day of fun during Grandparents Weekend. The farm offers wagon rides, bumpy train rides, pig racing, giant slides, animal feedings and so much more. 

Drive-in Mooovies at Thompson Farm 
Where: Thompson Farm at Brickyard Plantation
When: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. each Friday in October
Cost: $9/adult and $5/child
Join Thompson Farm at Brickyard Plantation for a drive-in Mooovie each Friday night in October. They’ll show Hocus Pocus, Maleficent, and Halloweentown with concessions available to purchase. Arrive early and pay an additional fee to explore the fun on the farm before the show starts at dusk. 

Myrtle Beach Oktoberfest
Where: Grand Park at The Market Common
When: 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, October 8 and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, October 9
Cost: Free
Bring the family down to The Market Common for Oktoberfest with a huge Bier Garden, inflatables for the kids, German music, and much more. This year’s event includes face painting and a petting zoo. 

Pawleys Island Festival of Music and Art
Where: The Reserve Golf Club of Pawleys Island
When: October 8-23, 2021
Cost: Varies per event
The 2021 Pawleys Island Festival of Music and Art is back and better than ever. Performances are held at The Reserve Golf Club of Pawleys Island and include names like Orlando Transit Authority - Chicago Tribute Band, The Miracles, Lao Tizer featuring Eric Marienthal, The Black Market Trust, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Tevares, The Texas Tenors, Best of the Eagles and a special tabled event. 

16th Annual Little River ShrimpFest
Where: Little River Waterfront
When: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 9 and Sunday, October 10
Cost: Free
The 16th annual Little River ShrimpFest promises the freshest shrimp and local seafood, two stages for live entertainment, and plenty of unique vendors throughout the weekend. Your kids will love the stilt walkers and balloon artists! 

Dinner in the Warehouse Featuring Jamie Deskalis
Where: Peanut Warehouse
When: 5:30 p.m. Sunday, October 10
Cost: $90/person
South Carolina Chef Ambassador Jamie Deskalis will highlight her cooking talents for dinner in the warehouse. Enjoy a taste of the Mediterranean at this very special dinner event with the local chef that owns three locations of Johnny D’s Waffles and Bakery. 

Myrtle Beach Drive-Thru Greek Festival
Where: St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church
When: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. October 14-16
This year’s St. John the Baptist Greek Festival may look a bit different to its annual visitors. Due to COVID-19 concerns, the traditional festival is postponed another year and a special drive-thru event was created so fans can grab their favorite Greek foods and pastries. Pick up pastitsio, moussaka, gyros, dolmades and spanikopita just to name a few! Save room for a slice of baklava on your way out.

Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival
Where: Historic Carver Street in Downtown Myrtle Beach
When: 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday, October 15; 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, October 16 and 2 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday, October 17
Cost: Free
The 5th annual Myrtle Beach Jazz Festival is planned for mid-October rain or shine. The entertainment lineup includes names like Chocolate Chip and Company, Bull Canty, Dee Lucas, Mike Hall, The Ginger Crew, and more. Parking is available downtown as well as at Pelicans Stadium where a free shuttle is available. 

CCAR Moonlight Masquerade Gala - CRG Is Proud To Sponsor This Event!
Where: The Dunes Golf & Beach Club
When: 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, October 15
Cost: $150 per ticket
Join the Coastal Carolina Association of Realtors for the Moonlight Masquerade Gala to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Horry County. The black-tie event will include live music from Painted Man and Craig Sorrells Project as well as heavy hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, and an open bar. 

42nd Annual Loris Bog-Off 
Where: Downtown Loris
When: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 16
Cost: Free admission
The 42nd annual Loris Bog-Off is back and better than ever! This year’s event will host more than 200 vendors, a large play area just for kids, and tons of live entertainment. Taste the very best Chicken Bog in South Carolina and find your new favorite! 

Family Fall Fest
Where: The Market Common
When: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, October 23
Cost: Free
Head on down to The Market Common for their first-ever Family Fall Fest. Decorate pumpkins, bring your own clothes and make a scarecrow or head out on a hayride. They’ll also offer yummy treats and drinks. 

3rd Annual Fall Carolina Craft Crawl
Where: Twelve33 Distillery, Crooked Hammock Brewery, and Grand Strand Brewery
When: 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. November 5 & 6
Cost: $35/person
Make your way through Twelve33 Distillery, Crooked Hammock Brewery, and Grand Strand Brewery during the third annual Fall Carolina Craft Crawl. All participants will receive a fall crawl t-shirt, a tasting at each location, and branded glassware souvenirs from each destination. This event is 21 and up and is limited to only 200 participants. Walk-ins are not permitted. 

Annual Kelsey McGhee Memorial Golf Tournament - - CRG Is Proud To Sponsor This Event!
Where: Tidewater Golf Club
When: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. November 8
Cost: $800 per foursome
