Kadin Karschner Has Joined The American Institute of Building Design (AIBD)

Our Professional Home Designer, Kadin Karschner, has become a member of The American Institute of Building Design (AIBD). This membership signifies Kadin’s dedication to the architectural design profession as it will provide him with ongoing opportunity for continuing education as well as additional resources to network with home design professionals and stay in tune with current design trends and state regulations.

Kadin joined the AIBD as a Professional Member, which requires a minimum two-years of experience in building design and members to maintain continuing education credits. From this membership, Kadin will work to become a Certified Professional Building Designer (CPBD) by completing a series of classes and competency exams. A nationally recognized designation, CPBD represents a design professional’s willingness to exceed minimal requirements and highlights their professional expertise, skills, and experience. The designation is regulated by the National Council of Building Designer Certification (NCBDC) which was created by The American Institute of Building Design to serve as a global source for credentialing all building design professionals.

The American Institute of Building Design, is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to supporting and promoting residential design professionals. Members benefit from being part of a network of professionals encompassing 60 years of experience who share knowledge, expertise, and tools for continued success. The AIBD maintains a database of members which is available to consumers and industry professionals, provides legislative alerts for members as well as access to publications, educational sessions, and conventions. Regional chapters are also available for members to connect on a local level through networking and learning events.
