Position: Administrative Assistant

General Position Description: CRG Companies is seeking a highly organized, energetic and capable Administrative Professional to assist with office administration and management. In this full-time role, you will be performing a wide array of administrative duties such as processing documents, maintaining databases, and liaising with vendors and clients. This position requires data entry and management involving responsibility and accuracy; therefore applicants should possess a high level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities may also include but not be limited to:

  • Answering telephone calls and if needed, directing callers to the appropriate personnel.
  • Welcoming visitors to the office and introducing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with internal communications and development of team culture
  • Overseeing the general appearance of the office, as well as keeping supplies well stocked.
  • Database management including research and update of multiple lists on a regular basis.
  • Preparing facilities for daily operations as well as assisting the team in both on-site and off-site events.
  • Assist with data entry, filing and miscellaneous administrative duties as needed.

To ensure success as an Administrative Professional at CRG Companies, you should possess excellent communication skills and demonstrable experience in an administrative role.

Required Skills For This Position Include:

  • 2-3 Years of administrative experience
  • High School education with a minimum of 2 years continued education or relevant work experience
  • Fluent in All Office 365 and Google Suite programs

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of office etiquette
  • Ability to adapt to additional job tasks as well as foresee necessary changes to job responsibilities, initiative to ensure tasks are managed effectively

Position: Construction Purchasing Assistant

General Position Description: CRG Companies is seeking a Construction Purchasing Associate for a full-time position to assist with our custom design/build division. In this role, you will be performing a wide array of duties related to the estimating of custom construction as well as handling all purchasing for materials.

Responsibilities May Also Include But Not Be Limited To:

    • Create Purchase Orders
    • Read plans and perform take-offs to generate purchase orders
    • Verifies bill from suppliers with bids and purchase orders.
    • Assist estimator with price changes
    • Maintain online construction software database with current pricing
    • Confer with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability and delivery schedules
    • Occasionally compose documents & letters and any other clerical duties
    • Assist estimating in processing change orders requested 
    • Research and resolve vendor disputes and problem invoices to improve accuracy of bids & takeoff
    • Assist construction personnel in identifying opportunities to improve takeoffs and budgets based on VPOs
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by Estimating Manager or Construction Manager

    Required Skills For This Position Include:

    • Strong negotiating skills
    • Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel, MS Word and construction software platforms
    • Impeccable attention to detail
    • Ability to work well with a team
    • Residential construction knowledge
