There’s everything from big box retailers to grocery stores, service businesses, and both sit-down and fast-casual places to eat. Grab a burger, pizza, or tacos when on the go or opt for a sit-down steak meal after enjoying a round of golf at the Rivers Edge Golf Club located off Highway/County Road 179. The golf course offers challenging play for all levels plus scenic views of the Shallotte River. Other outdoor recreation includes ziplining at the Shallotte River Swamp Park and team sports at the Shallotte District Park on Business 17, the latter which also has a playground and dog park.
